In 2016 twelve year old Cooper wanted to start a business...
Cooper took out a loan from his parents, bought a commercial shaved ice machine and all the supplies to start Coop’s Scoops Shaved Ice. It took him 3 years and a lot of hard work to pay off his loan.
Over the years Cooper has done family parties, weddings, neighborhood events, etc. Cooper would constantly get asked, “When are you going to make Coop’s Scoops a trailer?”.
Fast forward five years and we decided it was time. We wanted a vintage trailer look but the durability of a new build. Cooper’s dad is a general contractor and decided that building our very own custom trailer would be the only way to get exactly what we wanted. We decided that adding custom sodas would be another fun addition to the trailer.
We started by ordering a custom 15′ double axle, car hauler, flatbed trailer that would be able to handle the weight of the trailer. We had to widen the trailer floor to extend out to the wheel wells to maximize our square footage.
We did all the work ourselves (besides the closed cell spray foam and we had the electrical checked by a licensed electrican). It was a ton of work but we are so proud of how it turned out!
